Automated order processing

Problem
Orders arrived as PDF and Excel attachments. Staff matched SKUs by hand and retyped each one into the ERP, 15 to 30 minutes per order.
Built
A pipeline reads the email, extracts line items with AI, and fuzzy-matches SKUs against the catalogue, then applies that customer's own pricing, routing and shipping rules. Staff approve a clean summary; a validated order lands in the ERP. Corrections come back from the floor: staff flag a bad match in their own tooling, and the fix ships, usually within a day.

Inventory count digitization

Problem
Stock was counted on paper, then transcribed and reconciled by hand. Hours per count, errors throughout.
Built
Staff upload scanned count sheets. AI reads them, handwriting included, and matches them against the inventory database for one-click approval.

Result

from scanned sheets to approved inventory, down from hours. Transcription errors gone.

ERP Integration

B2B dealer portal

Problem
Dealers ordered by phone, email and fax. Pricing meant manual multiplier lookups; stock checks meant calling the warehouse.
Built
A portal where dealers browse ~6,000 SKUs at their own pricing, see live inventory across warehouses, and order. Two-way NetSuite sync, strict per-dealer isolation.

Result

dealer accounts onboarded, each with their own pricing and live stock. In rollout: the first dealers go live in August 2026.

Client names are withheld by agreement; operational systems are competitively sensitive. Architecture and results can be walked through in detail on a call.

I am an industrial engineer who writes production code. The person who works out what your operation needs is the person who builds it.

I am Dr. Thomas Möllers, founder of M Solutions. PhD in business model innovation from the University of St. Gallen, visiting scholar at Stanford, industrial engineering from RWTH Aachen. Before going independent I built enterprise software for leading APAC banks and led a multi-year research collaboration with BMW. I write the code, and I am the one in the room.
